Council is seeking a permanent full-time Senior Plumbing Inspector to contribute to our success.

Key Responsibilities
">
Your role will include:
">
">
* Managing and coordinating plumbing works assessments including onsite sewerage facilities, backflow prevention, and trade waste processes
">
* Monitoring and assessing applications and licenses in the areas of onsite sewerage facilities, backflow prevention, and trade waste disposal practices
">
* Providing expert advice on plumbing and drainage matters
">

Requirements
">
To be eligible for this position, you must have:
">
">
* Trade Qualified Plumber with discipline knowledge, skills, and substantial experience managing plumbing works assessments
">
* QBCC registration as a Licensed Plumber and Drainer in Queensland and ability to achieve registration in the Institute of Plumbing Inspectors QLD
">
* Onsite Sewerage facility Endorsement
">
* Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card)
">
* Experience interpreting plumbing and drainage plans and demonstrated knowledge of the Plumbing and Drainage Act and Regulations, standards, and codes
">
* Skilled in managing time, setting priorities, planning, and organisational skills
">
* Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving to effectively address and resolve issues
">
* Ability to analyse problems/situations and develop and implement solutions
">
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with a diverse client base and other employees
">
* Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems
">
