About Us ......
The Hervey Bay RSL is located on the beautiful Fraser Coast. The Club is the premier entertainment venue in the region experiencing growth in Hervey Bay. As the Hervey Bay has many venues within our region, we are seeking a maintenance person to assist with general maintenance at our venues. The successful applicant will report to the Maintenance Manager.

The Hervey Bay RSL is seeking a suitable maintenance person to work in the maintenance team approximately 20 – 30 hours per week .
Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, you MUST have relevant experience, skills and knowledge of general maintenance tasks:-
Duties would include:-
* Performing routine maintenance on equipment, furniture, building and facilities
* Utilize strong handy-person skills to support the maintenance team with diverse challenges
* General painting and repairs
* Perform various garden duties, including mowing, pruning, cutting, weeding and spraying when required
* Conduct a variety of cleaning tasks such as removing cobwebs, pressure washing, sweeping, and collecting and disposing of litter
* Use and store all equipment safely
* Identify and eliminate safety hazards where possible
* Forklift license advantage
* Must be eligible to gain a National Police Certificate for employment
* Must have current drivers license
* Minimum six (6) months experience
* Be a strong team member, willing to adapt to change and follow direction
* Team worker, pleasant vibrant personality
* Ability to work with minimal supervision

Hours of Work
Casual hours, Weekly roster. Must be available days Monday to Friday – 6am to 2pm
