This is a permanent full-time position commencing as soon as possible. Southern Cross District High School (SCDHS), located in the Eastern Wheatbelt, provides contemporary education for around 60 students from Kindergarten to Year 10.
Our small student population enables us to offer a personalised learning environment, whilst also providing a breadth of curriculum, teacher expertise and resourcing. Foremost, our school aims to empower students with the values, skills and knowledge essential in becoming valued members of their local community and beyond.
The Role
The successful applicant will ideally possess the professional knowledge, practices and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant English and Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) curriculum. In this role, you will promote and foster student engagement and achievement through building productive working relationships with staff and students.
We are seeking a Teacher who is ideally creative and hands-on in delivering English and HASS. You should ideally be someone who works well in a collaborative team environment, values strong relationships with students, parents, and the community.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
* hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration
* be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment
* apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start
* consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start
