With a robust pipeline of projects in both renewable and conventional generation, our client are expanding their Electrical Engineering team in Perth and seeking motivated individuals who thrive in technically challenging, hands-on design environments. Working across the full project lifecycle-from concept through to commissioning-you'll contribute to the design, documentation, and coordination of electrical systems for our power stations and related infrastructure.
Develop and produce detailed electrical schematics, single line diagrams (SLDs), comms blocks, bills of materials (BOMs), cable schedules, and switchboard/distribution layouts.
Undertake and review electrical design calculations and reports, including cable sizing, protection coordination, earthing, arc flash, and lightning protection.
Coordinate closely with engineers, project managers, and workshop/site teams to ensure designs are practical, secure, and buildable.
Support the continuous improvement of design standards, templates, and CAD systems.
Provide input into design reviews, equipment selection, and design integration across disciplines.
