Legal Secretary / Administration Assistant

About the Role
This position will provide essential legal, secretarial, and administrative support to our solicitors. You will play an important role in the smooth day-to-day running of the office and will be involved in a broad variety of work.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and drafting legal documents and correspondence
* Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries (for paralegal-level candidates)
* Managing client files (electronic and paper-based)
* Liaising with clients, courts, and external stakeholders
* Appointment management for solicitors
* Assisting with briefing counsel and preparing court documents
* Assisting with marketing activities
* General administrative duties including answering phones, filing, scanning, data entry, and billing.
What we are looking for:
The ideal candidate must have working rights in Australia and will have:
* 1–2+ years' experience
in a legal secretary or admin assistant.
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and practice management systems (or ability to learn quickly)
* A proactive, professional, and reliable approach
* Commitment to a
long-term role
