Correctional Psychologist
We are seeking a dedicated Correctional Psychologist to conduct psychological assessments and provide interventions within a custodial setting.
* A minimum of four years of experience in psychology, along with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), is required for this position.
* This role offers both full-time and part-time job share arrangements, providing flexibility for those interested.
The successful applicant will be contributing to mental health services in a correctional environment, working closely with offenders to address their mental health needs.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conducting thorough psychological assessments and implementing evidence-based interventions tailored to individual offender needs
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support services are provided to offenders
Key Requirements:
* A minimum of four years of experience in an accredited qualification in psychology
* Registration with AHPRA
* Experience working with offenders or in a similar correctional environment is highly regarded
