Offer description

Drive growth, build relationships, and make a real impact in your community.

Northern Inland Credit Union (NICU) seeks an experienced Loan Services Supervisor to join our team in Tamworth.

About NICU

Northern Inland Credit Union is a proudly Member‐owned financial institution with over 55 years of history serving regional communities. We exist for people, not profits - our Members are our shareholders, and every decision we make is about creating value for them and the communities we serve.

As a customer‐owned credit union, we deliver competitive rates, exceptional service, and reinvest profits into better products and community initiatives – not shareholder dividends. This means you'll be part of an organisation that truly puts people first.

NICU is embarking on an ambitious five‐year strategy to transform Member experience through the power of people and technology. We're creating a future‐ready credit union where human connection meets smartdigital solutions, delivering personalised engagement and meaningful community impact. Our goal is to champion Australians with inclusive banking that is fair, simple and purposeful – blending trusted relationships with innovative tools to help communities thrive.

About the role

As a Loan Services Supervisor, you will:

* Deliver an exceptional Member experience, demonstrating professional communication, responsiveness and attention to detail while managing enquiries, documentation and settlements end‐to‐end
* Manage lending systems and platforms, including the core banking system, NICU Digital Lending Platform, Housing Australia portal, and third‐party settlement systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance
* Identify, escalate and manage lending risks, applying controls in line with operational policies, risk management frameworks, and regulatory requirements, with a strong focus on accuracy and accountability

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a team environment and wants to make a real difference in the Tamworth region.

What we offer

* Attractive salary for the right person

* Community impact: Be a trusted financial partner in your region
* Career growth: Opportunities to develop and lead in a growing organisation

To be successful in this role, you would have the following

* Competent computer skills with accurate data entry skills
* High attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
* Superior communication skills within a high paced environment
