In our short history, we have successfully reinvigorated operations at Carborough Downs underground mine, breathed new life into the Broadlea open cut and we also have our new underground longwall mine at Ironbark No.1.
About the role
Reporting to the CHPP Maintenance Superintendent, as CHPP Maintenance Planner/Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and supervising preventative maintenance and condition monitoring activities. This is a frontline leadership role where you will coordinate breakdown maintenance and major component change outs and planned overhauls within the CHPP mobile and fixed plant equipment, whilst ensuring both personal and maintenance teams comply with Fitzroy's' Health & Safety Management System.
About You
* 5+ years' previous experience in a Supervisor/CHPP Maintenance Planner role.
* Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate and manage competing priorities within set deadlines.
* Advanced Diploma Engineering discipline - highly desirable.
* Trade qualification (Mechanical or Mobile Plant).
* Experienced in the cost-effective maintenance of plant and equipment in a CHPP environment.
* In depth knowledge of plant and machinery within the CHPP environment.
* Sound understanding of risk awareness and hazard identification processes.
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement strategies.
* Demonstrated advanced computer literacy combined with the ability to quickly pick up new software programs.
* Microsoft Project or similar planning programs.
