**About the role**
Providing radiation safety for staff, patients and other stakeholders who are part of the Radiation Oncology service. Working collaboratively within the broader radiation oncology team and providing a key role in the areas of radiotherapy equipment commissioning, quality assurance, dosimetry and treatment planning.

The department operates an integrated Elekta environment with Monaco TPS, Mosaiq OIS and Elekta linacs. Our Radiation Therapy Department is equipped with the latest in Elekta's Iris Imaging, Hexapod, SGRT and other advanced technologies, ensuring high-quality treatment for our patients. We offer IMRT, VMAT, SABR/SBRT/SRT & 4DCT as standard techniques.
Through our connection to the established Lismore Base Hospital, there are opportunities to be involved in the commissioning of Elekta's new Evo linacs. We have the latest in QA equipment and are in the process of rolling out the fully integrated SunCHECK platform for machine and patient QA.
