Our City Roads and Drainage team is looking for aself-motivated, hardworking, and experienced individual to fill theabove position. As a member of our team, the successful applicantwill undertake the operating of one of our Sweeper vehicles bothroad and path in the provision of a ‘Clean MandurahEnvironment’ and supporting the City’s Operationalservice needs in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner, andto agreed quality standards.
You will be responsible for:
* Undertaking sweeping operations throughout the City ofMandurah as outlined in the Maintenance Plan and asdirected.
* Be accountable for quality and standard of own workperformed, including productivity and safety.
* Ensuring proper operation and security of materials, tools,equipment, vehicles, and plant being used.
* Accurate record keeping of daily job records andreporting.
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Current unrestricted HR (Heavy Rigid) class driver’slicense
* Previous truck driving experience
* Previous experience in the operation of a suction roadsweeper (desirable)
* Excellent observation and concentration skills
* Safe operation and user maintenance of plant, equipment andvehicles in a general construction environment
* Work independently and with limited supervision
* Good customer service and decision-making skills
* As part of our recruitment process, you will be required toparticipate in a full pre-employment medical that includes drugand alcohol testing.

This permanent full-time OSE Level 3 position has a salary ofbetween $72,795 - $75,503 dependent on qualifications andexperience. This position is located at the City’s OperationsCentre, 93 Park Road, Mandurah.
