The Role
Gilmore College is seeking to employ Design and Technology Teachers to join their friendly team. The suitable applicants should have high expectations, with a commitment to excellence, use a range of pedagogies and can have the ability to establish and maintain a positive classroom learning environment. You should be a flexible and adaptive teacher, able to apply the strategies of differentiated instruction and explicit teaching using the Gilmore College Whole School Instructional Model. An ability to teach Design and Technology across all year levels from Years 7 to 12 is highly desirable.
The suitable applicants will ideally possess strong communication and interpersonal skills which will be used to develop and promote the school's values, ethos and priorities across the school community. You should build positive relationships with your students and be passionate about creating positive futures for students. Your input in a high functioning team of Design and Technology teachers will be valued and lead to potential leadership opportunities in the areas of pedagogy, sustainability and curriculum.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
* hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
* be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website.
* apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
* consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
