The ideal candidate will have over a decade of experience in substation construction and electrical distribution, with a proven track record of fostering collaborative relationships and delivering projects on time.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing all construction activities within a zone substation, focusing on safety and identifying potential risks.
* Overseeing day-to-day construction work, procurement activities, resource requirements, and project issues.
* Maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including subcontractors, clients, and internal staff.
* Ensuring high-quality work from subcontractors.
* Providing accurate input into forecasting program resources and financial requirements.
* Supporting Project Managers and Estimators as required - scoping, bid tendering, cost estimation, and construction schedules.
