About the Role The Risk Committees team is responsible for effective management of the governance activities related to all key executive Risk Management Committees; ownership and management of submissions to Board Risk Committee in collaboration with the Company Secretary, the ownership and management of existing processes/logistics to ensure Committees run efficiently; and additional initiatives as required by the Chief Risk Officer.This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring all key deliverables are met within required timeframes and at the expected standard.Banking is changing and we're changing with it, giving our people great opportunities to try new things, learn and grow. This role is accountable for:Monitors and reports the resolution of the Risk Committee issues and action/recommendation items as they relate to all Divisions globallyAssist the Senior Manager Risk Committees to seek to ensure the responsibilities of the various committees are discharged in accordance with their stated terms of reference/chartersProviding support/assistance to the committees as requiredReview paper submissions and engaging with key stakeholders to ensure high standard of quality and timeliness of information flow through committees and quality assurance checks of submission format and contentDraft Committee minutes for review by the Senior Manager Risk CommitteesDeputising for Senior Manager as Committee Secretary when requiredCo-ordinating required material for regulator visits. What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Strong Governance experience and mindsetExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written)Ability to influence senior stakeholders (Groups 3,2)Excellent time management skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and meet critical deadlinesPrevious experience managing or reporting to governance bodiesStrong internal networkYou're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
