Join the Specialised Business Services (SBS) team, where you'll manage a portfolio of larger sub-standard and impaired customer relationships across Westpac’s brands. This is a high-impact role focused on achieving better outcomes for both customers and the bank through proactive engagement, credit restructuring, and strategic risk management. 
Responsibilities 
- Manage a portfolio of larger sub-standard and impaired customer relationships across Westpac’s brands. 
- Work closely with customers, advisers, and internal stakeholders to develop tailored solutions, influence outcomes, and support the broader SBS purpose of minimising credit-related losses and maximising recovery. 
- Engage in credit restructuring and proactive risk management to achieve better outcomes for customers and the bank. 
- Collaborate with the SBS team to deliver effective outcomes and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. 
What do I need? 
- Experience in corporate credit assessment and direct customer engagement 
- Solid financial analysis and modelling skills, with excellent business acumen 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence outcomes 
- Understanding of loan structures, documentation, and security 
- Familiarity with commercial banking products and systems (desirable) 
- A grasp of the capital impact of stressed and impaired exposures
