Poly Water Tanks has been manufacturing polyethylene rainwater tanks on the Central Coast for over 20 years. We are a small, family owned and run business with a focus on safety and quality. The position is for a factory hand to assist in all aspects of the process of manufacturing by rotational moulding. Tasks include but are not limited to, loading moulds with powder, removing tanks from moulds, quality inspection, tank assembly and fitting, and loading and unloading delivery trucks. You will be required to.
- have a focus on Safety and Quality
- follow both written and verbal instructions
- be fit enough to regularly lift/move 25kg mass
- keep the work area organised and free from hazards
- work to production targets
- drive a forklift
- cope with exposure to hot conditions
- write legibly
- reliably turn up to work
- have a car and a current driver's licence to get yourself to and from work as public transport is not an option
Training will be provided on the job. This job requires you to have a forklift licence. Applicants who do not have one will be required to obtain the required qualification prior to or shortly after commencement of work.
At a minimum, you will have previous experience using power tools and be mechanically minded. Rotational Moulding experience is not required, but is HIGHLY SOUGHT-AFTER. The agreed salary will be commensurate with your experience.
The role is full-time casual during a trial period with the chance to continue with us as a permanent employee. Immediate start for the right candidate.
