No two days will look the same: one moment you'll be processing invoices and reconciling accounts, the next you'll be answering payroll questions from a venue manager or helping the Finance Manager prepare reports.
You'll be in constant communication with the business – by phone, email, and face-to-face – building strong relationships with managers and teams across our coastal restaurants and pubs.
It's a role that suits someone who loves variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in being an ago-to support person.Reporting to the Finance Manager, this newly created role is available immediately and offers the flexibility of part-time hours (approx. 30 hours per week with flexibility) with scope to grow.Key ResponsibilitiesHigh-volume Accounts Payable and Receivable processingPayroll processing (Deputy experience highly regarded)Assist with preparation of management accounts to trial balanceBank reconciliations and month-end support tasksSupplier and customer ledger managementSupport Finance Manager and team with ad-hoc tasksKey Skills & ExperienceFormal qualifications in Accounting, Bookkeeping or Finance or at least 4 years experiencePrevious experience in a large organisation (hospitality industry experience desirable)Working knowledge of Payroll processing, ideally using Deputy or similar rostering/payroll systemsXero experience or similar finance systems highly regardedAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHigh attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindsetWhy Join Us?
