Staff Specialist in Neurology
We are seeking a skilled Staff Specialist in Neurology to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our department.
* About the Role:
* This part-time position is available working 7.6 hours per fortnight, with on-call responsibilities.
* You will be responsible for providing specialist care to outpatients, including general neurology and subspecialty clinics, as well as direct care and consult advice for inpatients.
* The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* They must also possess a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of neurology.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Essential Requirements:
* Holds specialist registration or is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) on the specialist pathway.
* Or is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) with a recognised overseas specialist qualification and sufficient experience in the specialty.

* A remuneration package comprising the Agreement base salary, relevant allowances, and other entitlements will be negotiated with the successful applicant dependent on clinical experience and seniority.
* Please note that access to the Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner salary range is subject to the successful applicant satisfying the criteria outlined in the Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Award.
