Overview
The Manager, Disruption Management is part of the team that helps nbn respond to disruptive events, focusing on enhancing the organisation’s crisis and emergency response capabilities. The role involves designing and delivering training, testing, exercises, and debriefs to prepare senior leadership and business units for major disruptions, while also coordinating real-time crisis and emergency responses. The role includes on-call responsibilities to support crisis and emergency response efforts.

Qualifications
- Extensive experience managing responses to strategic and operational disruptive events, preferably within a critical infrastructure environment.
- Experience in managing real-world crises and emergencies.
- Experience in training and exercising senior leadership teams (SLTs) in responding to disruptive events.
- Strong understanding of response team attributes such as situational awareness, critical thinking, stakeholder management, decision-making, and time & task management.
- Strong planner, a team-player, comfortable in conversing with senior leaders and having an adaptive mindset.
