We are partnering with an Australian employer of choice who are known for their amazing culture and workplace flexibility, to recruit a Change Leader to join the Integration and play a pivotal role in a large, multi-year merger program.

This role sits in the People, Communications and Change stream, alongside a senior HR Business Partner, Program Coordinator and dedicated Comms specialist. You'll be the change lead who connects strategy with on-the-ground delivery, ensuring employees are supported through significant organisational change.

The opportunity

* Lead people-centred change for a major integration in the insurance and financial services sector.
* Shape the change strategy from the ground up – the detailed change plan is yet to be built, so there is genuine scope to design the approach, tools and rhythms.
* Work end-to-end across the program: from understanding impacts and sequencing activity with other streams, through to hands-on delivery with leaders and frontline teams.

What you'll be doing

* Designing and delivering the change strategy and plan for the integration, once broader program activity is aligned.
* Leading change leadership activity – coaching senior leaders, equipping people leaders, and ensuring change is communicated with empathy and clarity.
* Partnering closely with HR, Communications, Program Delivery and business leaders to assess change impacts, manage risk and support a smooth transition for employees..

What you bring

* Deep experience leading change in complex environments, ideally with exposure to mergers, acquisitions or large integrations.
* A genuinely people-centred approach to change, with employee experience at the heart rather than a tick-box mindset.
* Strong political savvy and stakeholder skills – you know how to navigate ambiguity, influence senior leaders and drive outcomes in a complex organisation.
* Comfort working in "build mode" where not everything is defined, and the ability to move seamlessly between strategy and delivery.
