**About Us**

Lavazza Good Food Distributors both well established family owned companies have an exciting opportunity for a coffee specialist. Due to exciting additions to our Lavazza Business ,Good Food Distributors are seeking an experienced and self-driven Sales representative/Business Development Manager to Head up and help manage our Lavazza 360 Solutions Business to grow throughout Newcastle Hunter Central & Mid North Coast. Good Food Distributors not only represents Lavazza in the region but is affiliated with many other National brands in food and drink ,that allow for expanded opportunities.

**About The Role**

We're looking for someone to take up the BDM Sales role ,who has a sound understanding of the coffee scene in our region ,you will be the face of Lavazza for the region. The role is a mixture of building new business ,maintaining existing and conducting training in the Foodservice ,Health and Office industries. You will call upon your Barista and sales skills to

**The Role**
- You must have a love of selling and thrive on achieving assigned revenue and growth targets.
- Own your pipeline and end-to-end sales cycle.
- Be capable of prospecting for new clients and identifying areas for growth.
- Prepare proposals and tenders and manage all client communication effectively.
- Build lasting relationships to drive new lead opportunities.
- 2-3 years' experience in a face-to-face BDM selling role.
- Contract management and negotiation experience.
- A positive, 'do whatever it takes' attitude when it comes generating sales and meeting targets.
- A lover of all things coffee.
- Onsite and training centre training
- Lavazza Brand ambassador

Qualifications and Experience
- Barista experience is a must, with a strong understanding of commercial coffee equipment and associated products
- Sophisticated coffee palate understanding complexities and variables of coffee
- Ability to confidently present core training to both internal and external partners
- Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge, or willingness to learn green bean sourcing and 'Farm to Cup' process - green bean through to roasting
- Superior customer service skills and experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to create pathways to 'get things done' through formal and informal channels
- Strong problem-solving skills and 'can do' attitude
- Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset
- Drive and passion for developing positive working relationships, both internally & externally
- Ability to adapt and work in a dynamic and fast paced environment autonomously
- Highly organized, including superior time management skills
- Calm under pressure and resolution focused
- Intermediate Microsoft Suite skills

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
