AtEmirates, our Aircraft Technicians play a key role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of the Emirates fleet of A380, B777 and A350.
As an Aircraft Technician, you'll join a highly skilled Line Maintenance team where under the direction and guidance of the assigned Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you'll perform a range of maintenance tasks on aircraft and components, ensuring full compliance with approved procedures, regulatory standards, and manufacturer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine aircraft/engine/component servicing/ maintenance and/or approved structural repairs compliant to manufacturers procedures, whilst following all safety procedures for fluid replenishment, aircraft refuelling, aircraft systems charging/servicing as required.
Complete any component replacement and other maintenance activities as directed and while also performing instructions contained in job card.
Assist the Licensed Aircraft Engineers in walk around checks on arrival and prior to departure, trouble shooting, defect rectifications and carrying out modifications.
Promote a strong safety culture by identifying and reporting potential hazards and ensuring all work areas are clean, organised, and free of FOD.
Use and interpret approved documentation such as the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), and Component Maintenance Manual (CMM).
Assist and perform Station Stores & Materials updating and audits as required to ensure the station is following and achieves all Engineering Quality Compliances.
Ensure prompt attendance to all allocated tasks to maximize ground time and avoid operational delays/disruptions. Communicate any defects or technical findings to the LAE clearly and ensure smooth shift handovers.
Comply with airport safety regulations, maintain a valid airside driving permit, and adhere to all airside manoeuvring requirements.
Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications:
Recognised aircraft maintenance qualification i.e. apprenticeship.
Experience:
Significant experience post basic training in an Aircraft Maintenance environment or significant experience in Line Maintenance or Base Maintenance.
Undertaken relevant training with a reputable airline or an approved aircraft maintenance organisation. Holding an Engineering Aircraft Maintenance License with several years of experience is an advantage, though not necessarily required.
Knowledge/skills:
Thorough knowledge and strong technical skills across aircraft systems, general servicing inspection techniques, and safety protocols.
Capable of assessing the suitability and serviceability of tooling for specific tasks, and proficient in understanding and operating specialised tools when required.
Fully conversant with both airport safety regulations, including the requirement to hold and maintain an airport driving permit, and airport manoeuvring area requirements, with the ability to ensure full compliance.
Must be proficient in English.
