Based in Larapinta - Southside of Brisbane, Botanica Garden Products also known as RICHGRO is a company that manufactures and supplies fertilisers and chemicals into Hardware stores/Garden Centres across Queensland/NSW region. This is a small family business with a large output that has been going now for over 40 years. Our biggest consumer is Bunnings that rely on us as one of the biggest distributors in Queensland to help deliver products on a weekly basis.
About the Role
Due to expansion in the business, we are now seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team who has availability to start immediately. This is a full-time position Monday to Friday 6.30am to 3pm with overtime available paid at 1.5 x the starting rate. You will be responsible for loading/unloading of trucks, constantly moving pallets of stock around the yard, be able to load and unload containers using a ramp on site. Other small duties will include assisting the production team in a machine operated environment as well as pick and packing warehouse orders. Having a Forklift License would be essential with 3 years minimum experience.
Overall, you will be working in a relatively fast-paced environment with plenty of assistance on hand to help get tasks done. For the right person, there is potential for progression as a long-term employee.
About you
* Previous experience in a warehouse and truck yard.
* Forklift (LF) License required.
* Drivers license (required).
* Ability to work as a team member and independently without supervision.
* Dynamic, proactive and enjoys versatility in a role. Not afraid to get involved in a variety of tasks.
