Support Technician
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Support Technician to join our team in Kalgoorlie.
* To effectively manage work orders, purchasing, and procurement for the rental fleet, ensuring timely delivery of parts and materials.
* To provide hands-on assistance to service technicians, including issuing parts and materials as required.
* To maintain accurate stock levels, process purchase orders, and receive goods in a timely manner.
* To operate forklifts and assist with yard operations, including stocktakes and equipment movements.
* To load and unload equipment from trucks, complete necessary paperwork, and assist with inspections.
* To perform minor services and repairs under guidance, such as oil changes and leak repairs.
* To maintain a clean and organised store and yard environment, adhering to safety protocols.
* To oversee third-party contractors working in the branch, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
* Experience in a similar role, with skills in stock handling, procurement, work orders, and yard responsibilities.
* Proficiency in computer systems, including stock management software.
* Mechanical aptitude and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
* High-level organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
* Strong listening, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
