Chandler Macleod are seeking an experienced Supply Officer to join our mining operations team. This role is critical in ensuring the timely supply of materials and equipment to support production and maintenance activities. You will manage inventory, coordinate procurement, and work closely with site teams to maintain operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control for mining and maintenance materials.
* Coordinate procurement activities, including raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers.
* Monitor delivery schedules and expedite orders to meet operational timelines.
* Maintain accurate records in SAP (or similar ERP system) for materials, resources, and transactions.
* Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to forecast material requirements.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
* Assist with shutdown planning by ensuring critical parts and consumables are available.
About You
* Previous experience in supply chain, inventory, or procurement within the mining industry.
* Strong knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
* Forklift/ HR License
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
* Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
