Title: Grade 4 Pharmacy Technician Team Leader - Compounding Services

About the Role
The role requires a flexible schedule, including after‐hours and on‐call duties, and the ability to travel across various Northern Health campuses and partner organisations. The team leader will manage day‐to‐day operations of technicians in a new compounding suite, working closely with the Senior Pharmacist – Compounding Services to provide oversight, training, and develop local guidelines that ensure safe, efficient production of compounded products in line with regulatory standards. Collaboration with the Pharmacy Department is essential to achieve strategic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee the daily operations of pharmacy technicians in the compounding suite.
* Work with the Senior Pharmacist – Compounding Services to provide oversight and training for staff.
* Develop and maintain local guidelines and processes ensuring safe and efficient production of compounded products in line with regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with the Pharmacy Department to achieve strategic departmental outcomes.
* Adapt to flexible working hours, after‐hours, on‐call and travel across campuses as required.
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years full‐time experience as a qualified Pharmacy Technician.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in aseptic production.
* Experience in supervising and developing staff, including Pharmacy Technicians.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Well‐developed self‐management skills, including the ability to meet timelines and prioritise competing demands.
