TP Human Capital is delighted to be partnering with a leading Townsville-based community services organisation to recruit an experienced MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Management Accountant plays a critical role in supporting the organisation's financial performance and strategic objectives. Working closely with operational leaders and a dedicated finance team, this role ensures accurate reporting, sound financial management, and continuous improvement across finance systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate and timely management reports with meaningful commentary to support decision-making.
* Support annual budgeting and forecasting cycles to ensure robust financial planning.
* Partner with business units to support cost control, financial modelling, and profitability analysis.
* Provide leadership and direction to Accounts Payable, Payroll, General Finance, and Operations team members, overseeing workload, performance, and professional development.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimise financial systems and processes.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory frameworks including NDIS Quality Standards.
About You
* Bachelor's Degree in Business or Commerce majoring in Accounting or Finance, or 8+ years experience in a similar role.
* CA, CPA or ACCA qualification (highly regarded).
* Demonstrated experience leading and managing finance teams.
* Knowledge of SCHADS, Aged Care, or NDIS award frameworks (highly regarded).
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
* Full-time permanent position based in Townsville.
* Salary range $110,000 – $120,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
* Salary sacrifices up to $15,900 per annum.
Mandatory Requirements
* Current Queensland C Class Driver's Licence.
* Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
* Child Safety & Personal History Screening Check.
