ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will work under the direction of the Academic Manager EESW to lead the design, development, delivery and evaluation of innovative, customised, high quality vocational education and training for the next generation of Australian Defence Force soldiers.
Educational Leaders at this level:
* Provide educational leadership to their team including the management of staff, building, and maintaining a positive workplace culture and high-quality curriculum development.
* Under the guidance of the Academic Manager, manage the educational, business activities and services within the electrotechnology stream of Wodonga TAFE.
* Play a significant role with senior representatives of associated client groups and other key stakeholders.
Selected Duties:
* Coordinate and supervise resources associated with teaching delivery.
* Manage, develop, mentor, and support a team of teaching staff.
* Be an active and effective participant in partnership (Defence) meetings for operations and management purposes.
* Manage training needs analysis and skills audit for students when required.

* Academic and trade qualifications combined with teaching and vocational experience in the Electrotechnology field.
* A teaching qualification at Australian Qualifications Framework Level 6 or above that includes supervised teaching practice, studies in adult teaching methodology and in a vocational education environment or equivalent and studies in applied research (linked to the Boyer Framework) OR currently working towards successfully completing.
* Current Australian Drivers Licence.
* Must be an Australian Citizen to be able to gain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
