About the job:
Reporting to the Training Coordinator, you will be using your passion for your field of expertise, your knowledge and your skills to train the next generation of high-quality workers.
This is currently a mix of work from home, classroom and workplace training.
* Supporting and assessing workplace learners
* Providing engaging training to a mixed cohort of learners in the classroom
* Completing training and assessment documentation according to organisational policies and procedures
* Record keeping and maintaining learner paperwork in line with compliance regulations
* Participating in validation and moderation activities

To be successful in this position you will possess:
* Experience and credibility within the Aged Care, Disability and/or Community Services sectors
* TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or ability and willingness to obtain
* Trauma, Autism and Mental Health experience is of advantage
* Experience working with individuals who may be disengaged from study or employment
* The initiative, attitude and ability to thrive within a dynamic, challenging and changing environment
* Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines
* Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and life experience
* Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to learn new software applications required to perform the role
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* A demonstrated ability, commitment and attitude to effective communication and liaison with both internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to travel around the state as required
