Location - QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW, SA, TAS Australian Citizens with Baseline Clearance Length of Contract: 12 months (2 X 12 months extension options) The role closes on 13th February 2026, 10AM Background: Data Architects design, create, deploy and manage the way data will be structured, stored, used, integrated and managed in IT systems. Key duties and responsibilities: Manage and administer the Database systems to ensure optimal performance, availability and security. Design, document, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions based on Oracle platforms, in collaboration with business applications, enterprise architecture and technology engineers. Manage and collaborate with platform and business applications incidents and requests, ensuring high level of customer service and satisfaction in Database solutions. Lead and collaborate in technology projects, including lifecycle upgrades, migration. Develop and document automation and monitoring solutions to streamline operational efficiency, capacity and performance. Maintain and improve documentation of resolutions and operating procedures, to work towards root cause analysis and continuous improvement. Qualifications and Experience: Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or relevant industry experience 5 years' experience in IT engineering, design / build Certifications in Database technology are highly desirable Practical knowledge of accountable technologies and implementation / operational support strategies Demonstrated leadership capabilities including strategic thinking, achieving results, and cultivating productive working relationships.
