Job Description:

The Centre is a safe haven for individuals in crisis due to addiction, domestic violence, lack of affordable housing, or unemployment. Our team works tirelessly to provide assistance with intense case management, help from support agencies, or temporary accommodation.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining processes and systems necessary for the effective administration of the centre. This includes roster planning, shift coverage, leave management, and training to ensure the efficient operation of the centre.

You will work closely with case workers to progress customers through the continuum of accommodation and program options available. Your coordination skills will be essential in ensuring compliance with policies and standards, capturing staff movements in HR and financial systems, and providing effective cost centre management.

We are seeking an individual who can establish and maintain effective relationships with the public, customers, staff, government agencies, and relevant non-government service organisations. Leadership and workplace safety are top priorities, and we require someone who can lead by example and ensure that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and integrated into day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop, establish, and maintain processes and systems for staff rosters, including roster planning, shift coverage, leave management, and training to ensure efficient operation.
* Work closely with case workers to progress customers through the continuum of accommodation and program options available.
* Coordinate financial, administrative, and human resource functions to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
* Capture staff movements correctly in HR and financial systems.
* Provide effective cost centre management.
* Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
* Lead by example and promote a positive workplace culture.
