Senior Payroll Officer Job
About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding position that involves overseeing end-to-end payroll processing and driving process improvements. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of payroll functions, as well as providing guidance and support to junior team members.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage and process end-to-end payroll for a large workforce.
* Interpret relevant legislation and regulations.
* Provide expert advice and support to colleagues.
* Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on reporting and system updates.
* Identify and implement process improvements to streamline payroll delivery.
The Ideal Candidate
* Strong experience in end-to-end payroll, ideally in a high-volume environment.
* Excellent knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, superannuation, and tax.
* Superb attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Proven ability to use payroll systems effectively.
* A proactive and collaborative mindset, with excellent communication skills.
