**The Role**
We are looking for a motivated and experienced cropping farm hand to join a family-operated team. Ideally, applicants will have previous experience in a similar cropping-focused role. Although this role has various tasks, a large part of it will be in-crop spraying utilising a recently purchased boom spray rig. During harvest the successful applicant will be operating headers or driving the trucks to nearby grain storage facilities - therefore HC licence and Chemcert or equivalent is a requirement.
You will have a genuine interest in agriculture, be a team player, and be able to undertake all aspects of the cropping cycle.
All staff members are involved in the repair and maintenance of machinery within the well-appointed workshop, so mechanical aptitude and ability will be key to the success of applicants in this role.
**The Employer**:
Our client, Hollams Brothers pride themselves on providing a family-friendly culture. The farm covers approximately 4,000 Ha and specialises in the cultivation of wheat, lentils, barley & canola. All aspects of the cropping cycle are undertaken in-house on a modern fleet of machinery which includes a Hardi Saritor 48m boom, 70ft Flexicoil seeder, John Deere headers, and Kenworth trucks.

**The Offer**
An attractive hourly rate measurable to existing skills and experience, starting at $30+/hr will be negotiated with the successful applicant, additionally, the package will include a phone and an optional vehicle.
Conveniently located just 25km south of Maitland, 27km north of Minlaton close to Ardrossan, Pt Victoria, and Pt Vincent, you will be able to access the beach within 15 km in both directions. Within the local communities, services are abundant including schools, medical facilities, and employment opportunities for partners.
- MC licence is preferred or HC with the ability to upgrade.

- Mechanical aptitude and ability to maintain machinery to a high standard.
