Responsibilities
To provide quality Speech Pathology assessment and treatment to patients of the Far West Local Health District
Gain experience in hospital settings, including Broken Hill Hospital

About Far West LHD

Selection Criteria / Qualifications
Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
Understanding and application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking for person/community-centred services
Ability to interact professionally and resolve conflicts
Ability to plan, advocate for and coordinate client care independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Understanding of primary health care practice and the interface between acute, sub-acute and community-based services
Commitment to professional development and applying/ sharing expertise with colleagues
Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and ability to use patient care software
Valid unrestricted driver's licence for NSW/Australia
