This role will involve providing support with daily living tasks, ensuring customers can live independently.
* Supporting individuals with everyday activities within their homes
* Providing assistance with hygiene and personal care
* Chaperoning and assisting with activities outside the home environment
* Assisting with medication compliance and dispensation of prescription medication
* Meal preparation and assistance
* Hydrotherapy assistance
* Slide transfers assistance
To excel in this position, you will require:
* A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support
* At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
* Valid drivers license, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance
* NDIS clearance, first aid certification, CPR certification, and national police clearance or willingness to obtain
* Manual handling certification
