**Description**:
The National Facilities and Fleet Manager will assist in the establishment and ongoing management of the national essential safety measures framework which includes support, direction and oversight of that state ESM operations, and coordination of HCA's interests for overall building and property compliance, office management, fleet management.
You will possess extensive experience in the management of facilities, including, compliance and safety with all contractual and legislative obligations. Sound knowledge and experience of corporate asset project management including scoping, planning and delivery of new facility requirements, to enable efficient project delivery is also key to your success.
We seek an organised individual who is an excellent communicator and has strong leadership skills with a background in Asset and Fleet Management. To be successful you will need to demonstrate that you have the capacity to engage with a wide cross section of individuals and an ability to prioritise workloads.
This position is a national role and can be located at any of HCA premises across our various states.

**Skills and Experiences**:
**About You**:
- Previously worked within a Facilities, Engineering or Building Management role, in a commercial environment preferably within the public/community, private housing sector or transferable sector
- Proven experience in a facilities and fleet management role
- Research and analysis experience including strategic facilities and fleet assessment
- Reporting and compliance experience including scoping, planning and delivery of new facility requirements
- Strong understanding of building services and systems
- Experience in the development and maintenance of a National Essential Safety Measures (ESM) framework including demonstrated understanding of ongoing compliance management
- Experience managing the day-to-day operations of properties and vehicle fleet including compliance with all contractual and legislative obligations
- Experience in the acquisition of new office space, including scoping, planning, implementation, and management of deliverables
- Ability to develop and manage budgets for HCA offices and commercial properties, fleet, facilities and ESM and contribute to investment plans to maximise facilities and fleet values to control costs and expenditure.
- Experience in management and compliance reporting
- Contribute to the development and ongoing management of frameworks within Asset Management
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining policies and procedures relevant to the role
- Ability to communicate effectively and build positive and productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise
- Well-developed organisational skills including the ability to manage conflicting priorities and high work volumes without affecting quality of service delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems
- Sound knowledge of OHS as it applies to the construction/maintenance/office industry
