Our client is a well recognised brand in WA and due to internal promotions are looking for a Sales Manager to lead the retail sales team, and another member to join the sales team. A recent customer service award winner, the sales team make the difference to our customers instore and post purchse experience.
The Role
The Retail Sales Manager is responsible for leading stores sales, driving revenue growth, developing the sales team and assisting them to acheive their own individual as well as team goals. The role oversees daily store performance, manages and develops staff and drives company standars and ensures they are consistently met.
* Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to acheive and exceed sales targets, as well as acheive personal sales targets
* Manage daily store operations, including daily sales and GP requirements
* Ensuring store wide exceptional customer service
Dealing with general customer issues, queries and/or
complaints.
* Ensuring displays are kept to a high standard
* Support promotional activities and new product launches
Working hours are Tuesday to Saturday 8.30-5.30.
Office base will be Brisbane where you have access to free on-site parking when in office.
What you need
To be successful in this role you must have experience within a retail sales role, either manager experience, or proven sales experience and ready for the next step to lead the team (Electrical retail highly oreferred)
You will be a 'closer' that can help your team close larger deals. You will split your time between developing the team, and leading by example. You will be results driven with strong sales and customer service focus. Naturally, communication and interpersonal skills will be high.
Some reporting, data analysis, financial acumen and POS/computer skills are also a base requirement
