Main Responsibility:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative to manage and grow Western Australia's Southern Territory dealer network (south of the Swan River, including regional travelling) across automotive entertainment, communication and safety product categories. This role is responsible for delivering the allocated sales budget by strengthening key customer relationships, executing effective sales strategies, and driving strong in-market implementation. The position will also support and maintain effective communication and partnerships with brand principals and partners at a state level.
* Take ownership of, and expand, the state dealer network across the three core product categories
* Develop and manage a robust dealer support structure while strengthening long-term customer relationships
* Drive sales performance across the territory with a sharp focus on achieving targets, optimising ROI, and effective time management
* Identify, research, and contribute to new product opportunities and potential business growth initiatives
* Develop and deliver product training programs for the dealer network
* Contribute to, and execute, national and tailored state promotional and merchandising initiatives
* Ensure business profitability is maintained in line with company objectives
* Grow existing accounts while identifying and securing new customer opportunities
* Monitor, analyse, and report on business performance, market conditions, and competitor activity to state and national management
* Act in accordance with company policies, procedures, and expected standards of behaviour
* Build trust through professional interactions that reinforce confidence in personal integrity and the organisation's values
Requirements:
* Ability to travel regularly to customer sites within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays when required
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes
* Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong customer relationships
* Strong ambition, resilience, and a genuine desire to succeed in a target-driven environment
* Previous exposure to retail or trade environments, with automotive industry experience highly regarded
* Strong time-management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and work autonomously
* A customer-focused mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
