BT Financial Group (BT) is the wealth management arm of the Westpac Group. BT designs, manufactures and administers financial products that enable customers to achieve their financial goals through the accumulation, management and protection of personal wealth. Distribution of BT's products is conducted through Westpac/BT's Australian and New Zealand consumer distribution businesses and an extensive network of external financial advisers.
**How will I help?**
Reporting into the Head of Managed Funds Product, as a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the Advance and BT branded multi-manager investment product range to ensure that they continue to meet regulatory and reporting requirements and remain competitive. In this 9-month max-term role, you will work on special projects, including managing regulatory change initiatives, product disclosure, simplification projects, management and development activities in accordance with Product and Service Lifecycle (PSL) requirements. You will also prepare Management and Board proposals and presentations, and project manage, attend and contribute toward stakeholder project meetings and ownership of action items to successful completion.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Keeping abreast of industry development and regulatory communications to market and sharing of information into the stakeholder project meetings
- Reporting and effective communication with all key stakeholders including Senior Management
- Contribution to business methodology, procedure and requirements documentation
- Working with Legal and Risk teams to co-ordinate Regulatory approvals where appropriate

**What do I need?**
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate a high product proficiency and an ability to communicate effectively with project teams, other divisions, and key stakeholders to deliver on Product change requirements. You must maintain a high technical knowledge of product and product structures, investment operations, managed investment schemes, managed accounts, and investments and superannuation, and legislative changes impacting the industry.
Further advantageous skills:
- Demonstrated product management and development experience in the banking or financial services industry, particularly within the superannuation and wealth management space, is highly regarded
- Project management skills and ability to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment with competing priorities, across multiple teams/stakeholders to deliver timely outcomes
- Stakeholder management and influencing skills, and the desire to develop long term positive working relationships
- Well-developed problem solving, analytical and time-management skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Relevant tertiary qualifications preferred
