Reliability & Identity Specialist - Long-Term Contract Opportunity
Are you an experienced Reliability & Identity Specialist with a strong background in Microsoft Identity Services?
We have an exciting, long-term contract role (12 months) providing advanced BAU support for a major Queensland Government Department.
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive specialist to provide Advanced Support for Identity Services, primarily focused on Microsoft technologies like Active Directory (AD) and Entra ID.
This role also includes general support across several other technologies and is critical for maintaining business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
Key Duties
Provide day-to-day operational support for existing identity solutions (AD, Entra, eDirectory).
Deliver outcomes in accordance with agreements made between the Information Technology Branch and the rest of the business.
Identify, analyse, and record, document and manage complex change/incidents/problems in accordance with established ITIL standards and procedures.
The role may have quarterly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to maintain.
Other duties as required.
What You'll Bring
Proven ability to work autonomously and cohesively in a team-based environment.
Expertise in Microsoft Identity Services (Active Directory and Entra ID).
Strong understanding and application of ITIL standards for managing change and incidents.
Current and varied experience across public and private sector is highly desirable.
Windows and Linux OS skills and experience are desirable.
