The Virtual Care Pharmacy Service team works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care, with a strong focus on improving health outcomes, supporting our workforce, and enhancing community wellbeing.

We are seeking a highly skilled Team Leader – Virtual Care to coordinate clinical and logistical service delivery for virtual care services, including medication distribution and clinical services to inpatients and outpatients of Hospital@home, Care@Home and Hospital in the Home or any other programs that may be placed under this service.

The successful applicant will operate independently in the provision of complex pharmacy activities to patients by demonstrating advanced knowledge, skills and experience relevant to pharmacy practice and provision of pharmaceutical information and providing professional advice and consultancy services to other disciplines and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate independently in the provision of complex pharmacy activities to patients by demonstrating advanced knowledge, skills and experience relevant to pharmacy practice and provision of pharmaceutical information and providing professional advice and consultancy services to other disciplines and the public.

* Supervise pharmacy teams under the broad delegation of the relevant pharmacy service manager, including direction of work priorities and practices; monitoring workflow; management of staff, professional supervision and development, performance appraisal and implementing programs and strategies to address identified training needs.

* Lead, Initiate and participate in the development and monitoring of policies and standard operating procedures for clinical pharmacy services.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential criteria:

* Be registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
">
">
Demonstrated desirable criteria include current driver's licence and recognition at either Registrar or Consultant level with the Australian & New Zealand College of Advanced Pharmacy (ANZCAP) in a relevant discipline or relevant postgraduate qualification in pharmacy and/or management.
