ABOUT THE COMPANY.
A newly created Foreman position has arisen with this highly recognised and reputable Civil Contractor in South Sydney. This company is known for its delivery of bulk/detailed earthworks, roadwork and public infrastructure projects valued over $10m. They are highly committed in delivering their client's projects on time at a high level of quality. ABOUT THE POSITION.
Working alongside the Project Manager as a Foreman, your main responsibility is to manage and co-ordinate the delivery of a number of civil infrastructure projects across Sydney. You will have a team of Engineers and workers reporting to you directly in assisting you with your delivery.
DUTIES.
Your duties will include but not limited to the following:
4. Safety management
5. Quality assurance
6. Pre-starts
7. Organising and managing subcontractors
8. Driving the team on a daily basis to ensure high productivity
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
9. Proven experience in delivering medium to large scale civil projects
10. An excellent understanding of technical specifications
11. End to end project delivery experience
12. Ability to drive sub-contractor productivity
