Role Overview
Job Description
* Deliver high-quality technical support for desktop computing, software applications, mobile devices, and other technology solutions.
* Utilise ServiceNow for efficient incident management, problem tracking, and service restoration processes.
* Manage IT equipment patching and maintain accurate records for structured cabling systems.
* Coordinate the installation of IT equipment in the Comms Room, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
* Provide first-line support for network infrastructure and escalate complex issues to senior engineers.
* Assist users with office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and demonstrate expertise in Google services such as Gmail and Google Docs.
* Participate in an on-call rotation for out-of-hours support, providing 24/7 coverage for critical incidents.
* Demonstrate knowledge of Azure Intune and its application in modernising IT environments.
The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in IT support, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate technical jargon into clear, concise language. They should be comfortable navigating incident management systems and possess strong analytical abilities to resolve complex problems.
