Role Summary & Role Description_
- Software engineer with a minimum of 10 years experience working in the financial sector._
- Experience Software Engineer work as architect to build technical solution covering but not limited to technical design, leveraging global systems, solution POC and recommendation, work with Project delivery team on technical and engineering matters, work with peers to improve the technical capability of APAC team and etc._
- Work with offshore teams to lead, consult and drive deliverables._
- Ensure project governance is in place, comply with all State Street policies, clearly understood by the teams involved, and always ensure checks and balances are in place for program delivery._
- Communicate effectively in a professional manner both written and orally with all levels of the organization._
- Eager to learn and understand the existing and future state model. Ability to drive some initiative to get to the future state._
- Strong proficiency to operate independently, problem solving, exercise prudent judgment, and escalate to appropriate parties_
- Core/Must have skills_
- Strong Communication skills and comfortable engaging with senior management as well as business users._
- Strong Project Management skills and have previously managed complex projects with multiple Agile teams._
- Good background in the public cloud services (AWS or Azure), core services including but not limited to EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, network service._
- Good background in container and container related technology. Past production use of Kubernetes is a strong plus._
Proficiency in one of: Oracle, Java, Python and front-end web technology such as React.
Good background in Linux environment, good understanding on OS level diagnostic commands from CPU, memory, IO etc.
- Good background in popular RDS products, like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, proficient in standard SQL and SQL optimization._
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills_
- Proficient presenting skills._
- Working knowledge of cloud computing_
- Good to have skills_
- Working knowledge of Snowflakes will be advantage_
- Comfortable working with multi teams remotely._
