Project Engineer
CIMIC Group companies Pacific Partnerships, CPB Contractors and UGL, along with JV Partner John Holland and as part of the Canberra Metro consortium, will finance, design, build and operate the next stage of Canberra's world-class light rail system Stage 2A from the City to Commonwealth Park.
The Stage 2A catenary-free (wireless) extension will be delivered under Canberra Metro's existing public-private partnership with the ACT Government.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the successful delivery of construction works for the Canberra Light Rail project.
* Assist in the planning and execution of daily site activities ensuring alignment with the project's scope, schedule and safety requirements.
* Provide the construction team with technical advice, including the interpretation of drawings, specifications and design details.
* Monitor and track project progress, maintaining accurate site records and contribute to weekly progress reports and cost control.
* Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery of works to the required quality and safety standards.
Requirements
* A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
* Previous site-based experience on major infrastructure projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and project documentation.
