About the role
We are seeking a skilled Pellenc/Harvester Technician to join our dynamic team at Karrawatta Pty Ltd in South Australia, with some interstate travel. As a full-time Pellenc/Harvester Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our specialised harvesting equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge agricultural technology and play a vital role in supporting our company's operations.
What you'll be doing
1. Performing routine maintenance and servicing on Pellenc and harvester equipment
2. Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with machinery, and carrying out necessary repairs
3. Ensuring all equipment is functioning at optimal performance levels
4. Maintaining detailed records of maintenance, repair, and service activities
5. Collaborating with the wider production team to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency
6. Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and procedures
What we're looking for
1. Experience as a Pellenc/Harvester Technician or similar role within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
2. Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of agricultural machinery, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
3. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
4. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
5. Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
6. Relevant qualifications or certifications in agricultural machinery maintenance or repair
