An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join a highly proficient department as an Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar.
This role involves serving as a Medical Practitioner at the primary referral hospital for the region, offering high-acuity cases and diverse clinical experiences.
The maternity unit is the hub for birthing and inpatient maternity care, extending antenatal and postnatal services to the region.
The unit handles approximately 1000 births annually and is supported by a skilled team of midwives.
High-risk births involve collaboration with other hospitals in Tasmania, supported by local endocrinology and diabetic teams.
The unit is also equipped with a Level 4 Neonatal Unit and an 8-bed Level 4 Intensive Care Unit.

Eligibility (at least one of the following) :
General, Provisional, or Limited registration with AHPRA
IMGs who have completed at least the AMC MCQ (Part 1) or both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam)
IMGs eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in UK, USA, NZ, Canada, or Ireland)
IMGs assessed by RANZCOG College as partially or substantially comparable (interview candidates may express interest)
Non-CA country: Have 7+ years of international experience working as an O&G Registrar
