Key Responsibilities:
1. Stock Management: You will be responsible for unpacking, labeling, and organizing merchandise efficiently to ensure seamless flow from the storeroom to the sales floor.
2. Delivery Processing: You will receive and process incoming deliveries accurately, ensuring that all inventory is properly recorded and stocked.
3. Equipment Handling: You will operate machinery such as Pallet Jack, Walkie Stacker, and trolley, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
4. Record Keeping: You will use the Inwards/Outwards Goods Register for accurate stock movements, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
5. Customer Support: You will assist customers with pickups and provide friendly service, addressing any queries or concerns they may have.
6. Store Maintenance: You will maintain store floor and stockroom standards, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
* Retail Experience: 2–3 years preferred but not essential, with experience in a similar role or industry.
* Customer Service Skills: Highly desirable, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
* Machinery Operations: Ability to operate machinery such as Pallet Jack, Walkie Stacker, and trolley, with training provided as needed.
* Self-Sufficiency: Ability to work independently, taking initiative and being proactive in achieving tasks and objectives.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency with inventory management software and POS systems, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 15kgs, 10kgs above shoulder, and 45kgs with assistance, while also being able to wear a headset for communication.
