Remuneration: $90,916 to $102,545 pa (HEW5) (inclusive of $76,825 to $86,652 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Executive Assistant, Alumni & Engagement to join the Engagement Portfolio, Chancellery Division.

The Executive Assistant provides support primarily to the Director, Alumni and Engagement, but also supports the Director, Professional Education and Director, Future Students. Responsibilities include high level administration assistance, planning and office management, diary management, correspondence support and event and travel arrangements. Confidentiality, discretion and sound judgement are critical attributes for this role. The position works collaboratively with key stakeholders and other staff to deliver exceptional service and support.

What you need to succeed

  • Education, training or relevant experience equivalent to completion of an associate diploma with at least two (2) years' subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education training.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide confidential executive support and to collaborate and communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrated digital literacy skills, including ability to effectively work with Microsoft suite of products, corporate systems and other information sources to extract and interpret data.
  • Demonstrated high level written communication skills, including the ability to draft meeting agendas and minutes, correspondence and submissions.
  • High level ability to manage time and tasks effectively, prioritising work, meeting deadlines and balancing competing demands, as well as the ability to embrace change and respond to unexpected challenges at short notice.
