Role Description
This is a casual hybrid role for an Industrial Chemist in the Research and Development space with opportunities to work remotely as needed. The Industrial Chemist will be responsible for designing, testing, and refining chemical formulations, conducting laboratory experiments, and providing analytical evaluations. The role will focus on slurries, solids, leachate and sewer treatments in the short term.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Laboratory Skills and practical experience with laboratory tools and procedures
* Strong background in non-organic chemisty and slurries along with waste water treatment.
* Quality Control processes and protocols and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
* Proficiency in Analytical Skills for interpreting data and ensuring precise chemical analysis
* Experience in Research and Development (R&D), including designing and conducting experiments to create innovative solutions
* Ability to effectively conduct Research and apply findings to improve processes and product formulations
* Detail-oriented mindset yet entreprenurial so as not to get stuck on the ifs buts and maybes.
* Background in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field;
* Familiarity with sustainability practices and a commitment to advancing environmentally friendly solutions is advantageous
