Location: Melbourne. Other Bureau capital city offices will be considered.
Salary Range
$135,402 – $152,073 per annum + 15.4% super
Base pay range: A$135,402.00/yr – A$152,073.00/yr
Position Overview
The Bureau’s Data and Digital group (DDG) is responsible for the ICT systems the Bureau relies on to provide trusted, reliable and responsive weather, water, climate, ocean and space weather services for Australia – all day, every day. The Service and Infrastructure Management program (SIM) manages a significant portion of the Bureau's budget and ensures the ongoing stability and operations of all IT assets essential for the delivery of Bureau capability. The Program seeks a strategic and results‑driven Service Delivery Manager to oversee a major managed services contract within the infrastructure support domain, ensuring reliable, secure and cost‑effective delivery of infrastructure services that underpin the Bureau’s national operations and critical weather intelligence systems.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Oversee a major managed services contract within the infrastructure support domain.
- Ensure reliable, secure, cost‑effective delivery of infrastructure services that underpin the Bureau’s national operations.
- Lead contract governance, performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage with senior stakeholders, manage risk and ensure service excellence.
